One of the finest Custom Framing Studios on the Peninsula is looking for your help! We are seeking a new employee to join our team of professionals, do you fit the bill? We work with some of the highest quality artwork and are in search of someone who has the experience.
We're looking for someone who = Can read a tape measure (very simple, but very important) Upholds a professional demeanor while at work Has an artistic background Pays EXCELLENT attention to detail, 1/16 is a big difference in our line of work! Has the ability/desire to design custom frames/mats on the spot with customers/great customer service skills Knows how to properly handle/treat/store artwork of all varieties and values Experience with power tools Can lift 50lbs Stability on the Monterey Bay Peninsula indicative of a permanent position Reliable with consistent work history and solid references All of these qualities aren't necessary, just preferred.
The right candidate will show the willingness to learn and participate wherever they can.
Most of the time spent in this position will be in our custom frame shop fitting and finishing.
If you have a background in finish carpentry, or any minor woodworking, please let us know! This would be a great asset to our team.
